Quality Processes
The main objective of Teknik Hortum ve Boru A.Ş. is to continuously improve the quality management system established to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction, and to measure its effectiveness. The company has achieved high-quality production that ensures customer satisfaction by manufacturing faster, at lower cost, and with long-lasting components.
With the awareness that the sole evaluator of the quality and service it provides is its customers, the company aims to respond to customer demands by following technological developments, to deliver products with high efficiency, at the desired time, and at the most appropriate quality and cost, and to maintain responsibility after production. It embraces a mission of continuous development and growth.
As part of its efforts to improve the quality management system and ensure its continuity effectively, investments are made each year in line with quality objectives to meet customer expectations. Among the measurement and control equipment added to the quality department and achieved through these quality objectives so far are:
- HEXAGON CMM 2.5-meter three-dimension coordinate measuring machines
- Electronic coating thickness measurement devices
- Digital angle gauges
- Digital internal pipe inspection devices
- Digital height gauges
- Numerous calibrated measurement and control tools accredited to DIN and SAE standards, used in incoming, in-process, and final quality control inspections
The company ensures quality reliability to such a degree that it eliminates the need for customers to conduct their own incoming inspections. Before shipment, 100% of the products undergo the following final leak tests:
- Manual leak test
- Automatic multi-leak test
- Brake hose multi-leak test
In accordance with the ISO-EN 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System, Teknik Hortum ve Boru A.Ş. implements processes such as Failure Analysis, Continuous Improvement (Final Inspection Product Audits), CMM Control, Process Control, and Performance Results. In the event of any nonconformity, various problem-solving techniques are applied to prevent recurrence of the issue.
